EasyTrivia.com, Inc. is the sole owner of the information collected on this site and any site related to EasyTrivia.com, Inc. We will not sell, share, or rent this information to others in ways different from what is disclosed in this statement. EasyTrivia.com, Inc. collects information from our users at several different points on our website. This information is collected to enhance the users' experience while at EasyTrivia.com by allowing the website and software to be customized to the users' demographic and/or psychographic preferences.

Customizing of the web site also applies to the advertisements that are served during a users' stay at EasyTrivia.com. We have aligned ourselves with PennyWeb.com and they will use the user information to better target relevant ads at the EasyTrivia.com users in hopes that this will increase interest in various advertising campaigns.

Registration

To gain access to play the EasyTrivia.com game show a new user must successfully complete the registration form with the most up to date information and it is the users' responsibility to update this information should any of it change. Failure to maintain current records may result in the loss of a prize awarded. New users must furnish a current email address to receive a randomly generated password from the EasyTrivia.com database, as a valid user name and password are required every time a user logs in to EasyTrivia.com. Along with an email address users are required to fill in their full name, address and telephone number. This information is used only when a user wins a prize with EasyTrivia.com and it is required for notification and tax purposes. Users have an option to submit further personal information in the member area of EasyTrivia.com. Members that choose to submit this optional information will be entitled to additional Epoints (EasyTrivia Points), however this is OPTIONAL.

Cookies

A cookie is a piece of data stored on the user's hard drive containing information about the user. Usage of a cookie is in no way linked to any personally identifiable information while on our site. Once the user closes their browser, the cookie simply terminates. For instance, by setting a cookie on our site, the user would not have to log in a password more than once, thereby saving time while on our site. Cookies can also enable us to track and target the interests of our users to enhance the experience on our site.

Some of our business partners use cookies on our site (for example, advertisers). However, we have no access to or control over these cookies.

Log Files

We use IP addresses to analyze trends, administer the site, track user's movement, and gather broad demographic information for aggregate use. IP addresses are not linked to personally identifiable information.

The information collected during registration and throughout the trivia game show will be shared only with sponsors of the game so they can better target their advertising campaigns. This information is confidential and our sponsors will never contact you in anyway unless your opt in to receive updates from our sponsors.

Newsletter

All new user have an opportunity to opt in to receive the EasyTrivia newsletter that goes out weekly. This newsletter will contain information that will benefit you such as tips on how to play and hints toward upcoming questions in the next game. All links to other sites within the newsletter are sponsors of EasyTrivia.com, Inc. and users should review their privacy policy before submitting any personal information.

Referrals

If a user elects to use our referral service for informing a friend about our site, we ask them for the friend's name and email address. When a member submits a friends' email address to EasyTrivia.com, Inc. will automatically send the friend a one-time email inviting them to visit the site. EasyTrivia.com, Inc. stores this information for the sole purpose of sending this one-time email and once the email is sent the information will be stored in the EasyTrivia.com database for use if that user should visit our site in the future. The friend may contact EasyTrivia.com, Inc. at referral@easytrivia.com to request the removal of this information from our database.

Security

EasyTrivia.com, Inc. takes every precaution to protect our users' information. When users submit sensitive information via the website, your information is protected both online and off-line.

When our registration form asks users to enter sensitive information (First and last name, address or telephone number), that information is encrypted and is protected with the best encryption software in the industry - SSL.

While we use SSL encryption to protect sensitive information online, we also do everything in our power to protect user-information off-line. All of our users' information, not just the sensitive information mentioned above, is restricted in our offices. Only employees who need the information to perform a specific job (for example, our billing clerk or a customer service representative) are granted access to personally identifiable information. Our employees must use password-protected screen-savers when they leave their desk. When they return, they must re-enter their password to re-gain access to your information. EasyTrivia.com, Inc. is always trying to make our product better and in doing so we require user input to ensure the highest level of quality. We will send an email to our users to inform them that a change has been made and upon receiving this email we ask that you visit the site, review the changes and submit any information you have regarding such changes, likes or dislikes.

Updating Personal Information

Users are reminded once again to maintain the most current information related to their profile as not doing so could result in the loss of a prize won.

Choice/Opt-out

During registration new users have an option whether to opt out of any marketing campaigns by any of EasyTrivia.com's sponsors by un-checking any of the corresponding check boxes.

Users who no longer wish to receive our newsletter or promotional materials from our partners may opt-out of receiving these communications by replying to with unsubscribe in the subject line in the email or email us at support@easytrivia.com. Users can also log in to the member area of EasyTrivia.com and make any changes to their profile that they desire.
Users of our site are always notified when their information is being collected by any outside parties. We do this so our users can make an informed choice as to whether they should proceed with services that require an outside party, or not.

Notification of Changes

If we decide to change our privacy policy, we will post those changes on our Homepage so our users are always aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under circumstances, if any, we disclose it. If at any point we decide to use personally identifiable information in a manner different from that stated at the time it was collected, we will notify users by way of an email. Users will have a choice as to whether or not we use their information in this different manner. We will use information in accordance with the privacy policy under which the information was collected.
